The students put their knowledge into action
by working to improve trout habitat in Saw Creek. Here, under the watchful
eye of PA DCNR staff, the students carry a log that will soon be part of a
stream deflector. Over the years, the students have rejuvenated almost 1/2
mile of silted-in stream.
